Rameswaram Spiritual Tour

Rameswaram is one of the most important pilgrimage destinations in India and is part of the sacred Char Dham pilgrimage. Agni Theertham is a sacred sea bathing spot located just outside the Ramanathaswamy Temple. Many pilgrims begin their temple visit by bathing in the sea at Agni Theertham as part of traditional religious practices associated with the pilgrimage.

Dhanushkodi is often referred to as a ghost town because it was destroyed by a powerful cyclone in 1964. After the disaster, the town was abandoned and declared uninhabitable. Today, visitors can explore the ruins of old churches, railway stations, and houses that remain partially buried in sand. The location also offers breathtaking views where the Bay of Bengal meets the Indian Ocean.

Pamban Bridge is the first sea bridge built in India and connects the island of Rameswaram with mainland Tamil Nadu. The bridge offers spectacular views of the surrounding ocean and passing fishing boats. It is also famous for its engineering design, including a section that can open to allow ships to pass through, making it an important and historic transportation structure.
